Curtis Miller, President and Founder of Printing Technology Services, Inc. has extensive technical experience with electronic printing technologies, variable data printing systems, digital imaging systems, and printing machine controls.

 

His engineering experience includes:

  • President of Printing Technology Services (11 years), development of digital/inkjet printing solutions for continuous web and cut-sheet applications, and business/sales development for the global market.
  • Vice President of Engineering for Vikon Imaging Systems (3 years), development of an advanced direct charge imaging print engine technology.
  • Engineering Manager for AM Graphics/Heidelberg (5 years), development of newspaper manufacturing equipment, supervisory machine control systems, and related pre-press equipment.
  • Engineering Manager for AM Graphics/Advanced Imaging Systems (5 years), development of automated digital web press controls, digital imaging and printing systems, and liquid toner control systems.
  • Design Engineer for Harris Corporation Aerospace Systems Division (3 years), engineering design and development of military digital communication systems.
  • He holds two U.S. Patents in the printing industry: Envelope Feeder for Printing Press with Timing Circuit for Suction Cups, Feed Roller and Flywheel, 1985; and Liquid Toner Supply System and Method, 1991.

Curtis earned his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Florida in 1982.  His major areas of study were control theory, computer design and signal processing.  He earned his Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Dayton in 1993.  His major areas of focus were signal processing, image processing, and raster image processing.
